"Three and a half years ago I recovered from severe ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome)" Meet Veronica Maurel @veronica_yogasound, Dru yoga teacher, Ayurveda health Coach & founder of The Akasha yoga centre Nottingham. This is her #yogasavedmylife story "I had been told that my serious condition, ME, would be with me for the rest of my life and that I’d need a wheelchair to move around. I embarked upon a healing journey of yoga, Ayurveda and Mickel Therapy. And I came back to myself and pure health When I say Yoga saved my life, I’m not talking about Asana. During my illness I couldn’t practice that way. I'm talking about the sound, spirit, philosophy of yoga. Being part of a river of Yogis that, over time, have believed that there’s an inner manifested intelligence in every cell of the body that, given the right environment, will only thrive Our yoga practice should take us inside ourselves, to connect us with our Essence & start a life long journey of discovery and integrated consciousness where we breathe, receive, accept, radically affirm every part of our experience The yogi warrior in me found the way to health and I equipped myself with the tools to heal myself. Now I dedicate my life to helping others do the same ❤ Namaste 🙏
