"I was born with a unique case of ADHA, giving me an electric & magnetic personality. Some would say I’m eccentric, I'd say I’m just myself
When very young I was told I had a degree of autism. I’ve always got in trouble for knowing slightly more than others regarding the big cosmic picture. Don’t hate me, I’m just the messenger, lol
Sports have always been part of my life & I’ve competed in several. I was a 3 time national champion in long jump & team captain at high school. Then I was introduced to YOGA by someone very special & it changed my life for the better
The cosmic connection I had within was overwhelming at times, in a good way. I feel that through yoga, I have been able to learn so much about myself & purpose in this journey 🙏
However, I’ve had severe injuries to my Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar spine & for about 2 1/2 years I was having surgery every other month. I’ve also had several surgeries to my limbs; wrist, knee, arm & broken ribs. All extreme sports related. During my surgical years I got very depressed
I was in excruciating pain every day taking lots of pain medication.
Slowly I was drifting from myself & all my dreams. Doctors & others persuaded me to stop doing what I love & settle like a “normal human being.”
However, I struggled, coping with a reality that I was not part of, I wasn’t happy. One
Day, I looked at myself in the mirror & I didn’t like it. I immediately quit the medications and went back to practicing YOGA solo
I found momentum & found myself back at the gym. My body got stronger, and Yoga helped my core, balance & soul. It gave me back peace of mind and allowed me to reconnect within 🙏
I’m now able to do extreme sports again - I believe it has to do with the power of will I’ve always had - but Yoga saved me because it helped me find my way back home within I’m on a mission to show the world that my disabilities can’t prevent me from achieving anything, that my heart & mind are in tune. I really want to inspire the world with good karma"
