My name is LeMeir @buildingfitlives & this is my #yogasavedmylife story

"In October 2011 I drove myself to the Hospital because I didn’t feel well turns out, I was having a Stroke

.

Yes, I Have Days where I Wobble more, have Less Energy or More Pain but Y’all- I’m Alive! I can Walk, I Can Talk, I Can Exercise, I Can Volunteer at the Children’s Hospital or Homeless shelters and soon, I’ll be able to teach #ModifiedRocketYoga Classes

.

I’m sooo eternally grateful to the #BLMRocketYogaTeacherTraining Instructors- @yogiman_83, @brandoflows @carsonclaycalhoun and My Fellow Goddess @iamdavinadavidson for the Loving Instruction and Giving So Completely of Yourselves over These last 5 Weeks

.

I KNOW the Shift I’ve Seen In Myself is A Permanent One

.

The Positivity and overwhelming love from my @blmrocketyoga family has helped in healing the Broken, Angry, Tired, Emotionally Exhausted, Frightened Black Woman Part of Me that felt the daily Stress of Living under 45’s Tyranny

.

Most of That has Since been replaced With an Inner Peace, a Sense of Calm, a Full Heart and Soul with the Renewed Fighting Spirit of John Lewis #goodtrouble

.

I Want to BuildFitLives in My Black Community & My Spoonie (Persons Dealing With Chronic Health Issues) Community, In My Fibro Community, in My Stormie (Stroke Survivors) Community and My Primary Goal is to Touch Those School Aged Children in the Poorer Schools in My Phoenix area with yoga

.

The school nurse in me has always felt a special obligation to our children

.

As a Child Abuse Survivor, I Know the Warped self esteem, and inability to completely Love Ourselves or to Verbalize and Process the Pain it can leave behind

.

I Know That Pain as well as I know the Self Love That Yoga Promotes. I want Every Child to Have that, but Especially those Who Need Extra Love 💚 Extra Support and Healing on an Emotional Level

.

I am grateful"
